About Loot Goblin amiibo
Loot Goblins (also called Treasure Goblins) are the small, fast-moving, treasure-laden enemies who appear randomly in Diablo III (2012), Diablo IV (2023), and the franchise's mobile entry. They sprint away from the player as fast as possible, occasionally drop high-tier loot, and disappear through a magic-portal escape route if the player can't catch them in time. The amiibo released November 2, 2018 alongside Diablo III: Eternal Collection's Switch launch, the figure-line's first non-Nintendo non-Smash third-party amiibo for a Western developer.
The figure: small green Loot Goblin with the over-stuffed sack of treasure, it's a recolor of another figure that was re-used and made into an Amiibo.
It pairs with the broader figure-line third-party cluster (Solaire, Pragmata Diana, etc.), a shelf-individual rather than part of a multi-figure cluster. Most Diablo fans have personal Loot-Goblin-trauma anecdotes from missed loot escapes. The figure keeps the source of those losses in plastic.
