Palamute Amiibo

Palamute is the canine-class hunter companion introduced in Monster Hunter Rise, the 2021 Switch entry that broke from the franchise's twenty-year Felyne-only companion tradition by adding a rideable dog-class partner. Palamutes are large, husky-coded dogs in armor, ridden into combat across Rise's vertical-traversal maps.

The pose is Palamute in his sitting-stance with the beautiful Kamura armor. Body language reads as alert-companion rather than aggressive-attacker, which is on-character.

He represents the franchise's most significant companion development in two decades. Monster Hunter had been Felyne-only since 2004. Rise introduced Palamutes mostly to speed up hunts, which may or may not be to your linking. Pairs naturally with the Palico amiibo as the Monster Hunter Rise companion duo.
