The Mario Power-Up Band is a wristband-form amiibo released by Universal Studios for Super Nintendo World theme parks. Originally theme-park-exclusive, then released to broader retail February 17, 2023. It's designed to function both as a park interaction token AND as a Nintendo Switch amiibo. Tap it on park kiosks for ride integrations; tap it on a Switch for amiibo content.

It pairs with the rest of the Power-Up Band line (Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Toad, Yoshi, plus the Donkey Kong bands released later). Available at Super Nintendo World parks and broader retail since 2023. Get him for the format-novelty if nothing else; it's the most genuinely different amiibo product Nintendo has shipped since the original figure-versus-card split.
