Meta Knight Amiibo

Meta Knight is the masked sword-fighter who appears across most Kirby games as a recurring character with a fluctuating role: sometimes ally, sometimes antagonist, occasionally final-boss-tier opponent. His character beat is being the franchise's most narratively-ambiguous character, and his backstory remains intentionally vague across multiple games. The franchise has hinted that Meta Knight is a fellow puffball-species character under the mask but has never confirmed. The amiibo released September 25, 2015 as part of the Kirby Series quartet.

He pairs with Kirby, King Dedede, Waddle Dee (the Kirby Series quartet) and the broader Kirby cluster. Most Kirby fans display Meta Knight in the four-figure quartet because the four-figure pose-arrangement is the Kirby figure-line's most cohesive display configuration. The mask stays on. The figure carries the mystery.
