Callie Amiibo

Callie is one half of the Squid Sisters, the in-game pop-idol duo who hosted Inkopolis News in Splatoon 1 (2015 Wii U) and gradually became the franchise's primary face. Her character beat is being the more energetic, prone-to-puns, bubbly half of the duo. The Squid Sisters were originally meant to be a small in-game-news framing device, but the fanbase responded so strongly that the duo became the franchise's primary marketing identity for years.
