About Peach - Wedding Outfit amiibo
Peach Wedding is Princess Peach in the wedding dress Bowser ordered for her against her will. Super Mario Odyssey's plot has Bowser kidnap Peach (again) and announce he's going to forcibly marry her in a Moon Kingdom ceremony, and Peach spends the entire game being shuffled between kingdoms in the dress while Mario chases them. Her wedding outfit is a long white gown with Tiara, her sentient-tiara companion (Cappy's sister), acting as the actual tiara on her head. The amiibo released October 26, 2017.
Tap her on Odyssey to unlock the Peach Wedding Outfit costume in-game plus a small amount of Power Moon currency. (Peach in Odyssey is wearing the wedding dress under duress for the entire game, and the post-finale cutscene has her decline to leave with either Mario or Bowser, which is the franchise quietly updating its own princess-rescue thesis. The post-finale Peach gets a different look that the franchise hasn't made into an amiibo. The figure keeps the pre-finale dress.)
She pairs with Mario Wedding and Bowser Wedding as the three-figure wedding trio. Peach in Odyssey has more agency than in any previous mainline Mario; the post-finale moment where she tells both Mario and Bowser she's going on her own world tour is one of the franchise's quieter character-development moves. Tiara on her head is a separate-piece sculpt. Tiara is also a person. Everyone in Odyssey is a hat.
