Zelda & Loftwing - Skyward Sword Amiibo

Skyward Sword's setting is Skyloft, the floating island in the clouds where Hylians live. Loftwings are the giant rideable birds Skyloftians use as their primary mode of travel. The figure depicts SS Zelda in her formal-attire configuration mounted on a giant red Loftwing mid-flight. The amiibo released July 16, 2021 alongside the SS HD remaster.

Tap her on SS HD to let Link fly between Skyloft and the surface at any save point (paired with the Link Skyward Sword amiibo function). The fast-travel function was added specifically for the figure-line release; the original 2011 Wii version of SS predated amiibo support. Nintendo backwards-engineered the figure into a remake-only quality-of-life feature, which means owners of the Wii original have a figure with no in-game function.

She pairs with Link Skyward Sword, Toon Link Wind Waker, Zelda Wind Waker, and the broader Zelda-character cluster.
