Palutena Amiibo

Palutena is the Goddess of Light from Kid Icarus: Uprising (2012 3DS), the Sakurai-directed reboot of the dormant Kid Icarus franchise. Her Smash 4 inclusion (2014) gave Uprising additional Smash representation beyond Pit's continuous Kid Icarus slot.

In Smash Ultimate her FP trains with her Customize-coded moveset: Autoreticle neutral-special-projectile-aim, Reflect Barrier side-special-reflector, Warp up-special-teleport, Counter down-special. Palutena's Smash 4 release controversially included a Customize Move-Set system that gave her multiple alternate-special-moves; Smash Ultimate streamlined the system but kept her customization-themed character archetype.

She pairs with Pit, Dark Pit, and the broader Kid Icarus-line Smash cluster. The franchise commits to its dormant-property revivals when its director is also the property's reviver.
