Tulin Amiibo

Tulin is the Rito child Sage of Wind in Tears of the Kingdom (2023), son of Teba (the Rito warrior who first appeared in BotW's DLC content as the Vah Medoh assistance character). His character beat is being the youngest of TotK's five Sages, and the franchise let him quietly grow up across the Zelda timeline: BotW Tulin is a small Rito chick following his dad around Rito Village; TotK Tulin is the kid who has earned his Sage role. The amiibo released April 12, 2023 alongside the TotK launch wave.

Tap him on TotK and he grants Tulin's Gust, the Sage ability that propels Link forward in mid-air and clears small obstacles. Tulin's Gust is the most-used TotK Sage ability because it stacks with paragliding and effectively extends Link's airtime. (The Sage ability menu in TotK includes five options and Tulin's is the one you keep on by default. The other four cycle in and out depending on context. Tulin is always on.)

He pairs with Yunobo, Sidon, Riju, and Mineru's Construct as the five-Sage TotK cluster. Every TotK player has used Tulin's Gust thousands of times across an average playthrough. The ability is so essential that the TotK speedrun community has built entire route-strategies around its specific cooldown timing.
