About Sheik amiibo
Sheik is Princess Zelda's Sheikah-warrior alter-ego from Ocarina of Time (1998 N64); the franchise's reveal in OoT was that the mysterious Sheik character who'd been guiding adult Link through the second half of the game was actually Zelda in disguise the entire time. Smash Melee (2001) introduced Sheik as a transformable-Zelda alternate-form, where Zelda could swap mid-fight between her princess form and her Sheik combat form. Smash 4 split the two characters into separate roster slots, which made Sheik her own dedicated Smash fighter for the first time. The amiibo released April 24, 2015.
In Smash Ultimate her FP trains with the franchise's most tactical-zoner Zelda-line moveset: Needle Storm projectile-burst, Burst Grenade side-special-explosive, Bouncing Fish down-special-throw, Vanish teleport-recovery. Her multi-direction-recovery options give her broad spatial coverage.
She pairs with Link Smash, Zelda Smash, Toon Link, Young Link, Ganondorf Smash, and the broader Zelda-line Smash cluster.
