About Zero Suit Samus amiibo
Zero Suit Samus depicts Samus in her tight-fitting under-suit (the Zero Suit) without her standard Power Suit armor; the franchise has positioned this configuration as a fast-and-mobile counterpart to standard Samus's heavy-zoner archetype. Her Smash inclusion was originally as a transformable-Samus alternate-form in Brawl (2008); Smash 4 split the two characters into separate roster slots, which made Zero Suit Samus her own dedicated Smash fighter for the first time. The amiibo released February 1, 2015.
Most franchise Samus figures depict her in Power Suit. Zero Suit Samus is the rare Samus figure that depicts her without armor.
In Smash Ultimate her FP trains with the franchise's most fast-mobility Metroid moveset: Paralyzer ranged-stun, Plasma Whip side-special-tether, Boost Kick up-special-recovery, Flip Jump down-special-acrobatic-kick. Her speed-and-tether-recovery options give her broad spatial coverage.
She pairs with Samus Smash, Dark Samus, Ridley, the Metroid-line figures, and the broader Smash Ultimate roster.
