Ike Amiibo

Ike is the protagonist of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (2005 GameCube) and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (2007 Wii). His Smash Brawl inclusion (2008) added the franchise's heaviest Fire Emblem fighter to the roster. His character beat in Smash is being the slow-and-tanky FE archetype: high-knockback Aether down-special, slow-attack-speed but high-damage moveset, the Ragnell two-handed-sword-swing combat. The amiibo released February 1, 2015.

The Ike line 'I fight for my friends' became one of the franchise's most-quoted FE-derived memes. Most Smash-Fire-Emblem fighters are spacing-coded. Ike is the rare FE fighter who plays like a heavyweight bruiser.

In Smash Ultimate his FP trains with his distinctive heavyweight-FE moveset: Eruption neutral-special-charge, Quick Draw side-special-rush, Aether down-special-recovery, Counter mid-air-counter.
