Revali - Rito Champion Amiibo

Revali's amiibo is the figure of BotW's most-arrogant Champion, by design. Revali is the Rito warrior, pilot of Divine Beast Vah Medoh, and the only Champion who openly dislikes Link in flashback dialogue. His character beat is that he's unsubtly jealous of Link's appointed-knight-of-Hyrule role, and his lines drip with the kind of competitive-flex energy that the franchise rarely commits to. The amiibo released November 10, 2017 as part of the four-Champion BotW wave.

He pairs with Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa as the four-Champion cluster.

Revali's Gale is the best traversal-Champion ability in BotW. If Tears of the Kinddom has a flaw, it's that it's missing Rivali's Gale. The vertical updraft that lets the player paraglide from any flat ground is the kind of mechanic that changes how you navigate Hyrule.

Revali himself is insufferable; his ability is essential. The two facts coexist. Revali's specific energy (the talented-and-difficult-to-be-around teammate) is the franchise's most-honest character archetype. The figure scowls.
